notes:
If it comes closer, the howling in the distance -
Might be monkeys or wolves - I'm ready to put up halfhearted resistance

The temperature might be pleasant and the scenery pretty -
I feel like I stepped off the plane in the wrong city.

I seem to have misplaced my shoes, the gate is blocked by bars
A neon sign flashes "Triumph": I guess it means the cars
Woke up this morning, felt way off course
I'm not quite sure how to get back on my horse

The temperature might be pleasant and the scenery pretty -
I feel like I stepped off the plane in the wrong city.

Staring right now I'll stare at the wall
Come up with a thought or walk down the hall

Lyrics by Peter Johnson and Valeska Ramet
