Man, Ive resisted and rejected hair brained ideas to the point of tearing my hair out Of course, its falling out anyway I dont care what idiots say I dont care to split hairs About whats trending today I find a quiet place to go to write my manifesto I like the lights turned low when I write my manifesto Not just what I feel but what I know Thats how it goes when I write my manifesto From one fuss to another at some point defining the art I fuss over just about everything Im taking matters into my own hands Maybe someone out there understands How things have to be just so& I go all in when I write my manifesto I let everything else go when I write my manifesto I quit my job and live like a slob Thats how it goes when I write my manifesto Yes, tears are falling Over a small plate of pot stickers Spicy, spicy Oh, hell no& If I cant find a publisher I will publish it myself I stand resolved if heavily self-involved The man can go fuck himself Renewing the rush to crush my manifesto It will make you flush make you blush my manifesto And the people are going to rise up hey-ho! Thats what inspires me to write my manifesto Im not ready to release it though Things have to be just so When I write my manifesto When I write my manifesto Written and Recorded in one day for the 2020 Song-A-Day challenge
