the waves have crushed a billion rocks, so my feet can know the sand. salt and skin collide in wind. i'm a pilgrim of this land. the waves have endless patience, as they lick the crumbling shale. the walls between water and wealth, are a temporary jail. mansions on the cliff, elevate those within. the tide will rise to reach their pride, and it starts all over again. whisper to me only, when the water takes us in. brave is partly foolish, and the foolish sometimes win.
