notes:
I fall to my knees in a faerie ring under eucalyptus
Your fingertips bounce along the knobby bark of the redwoods
We take off at a gallop and run for the bridge of fog and meaning
You smell my neck, I touch your face, thats’ how we say I love you
Even my brightest joy knows we can’t stay here forever
I swear I’ll cross the Golden Gate Bridge on my way to heaven
Another tertiary sunset - purple, orange and green
Projected on your dappled skin, I will never tire of this scene
The cityscape moves so fast and slow beneath our feet
We’ve got hearts like combustion engines, we run for the bridge to the beat
Even my brightest joy knows we can’t stay here forever
I swear I’ll cross the Golden Gate Bridge on my way to heaven
