Perhaps I’ll change the way I eat start to get better exercise If I take these steps bring this tired body into line Maybe I’ll enrich my brain learn something new on every day I know what you’re waiting for, but I’m too tired to write the punchline I’ll begin to care for humanity Take up important global causes I could learn some empathy The voice that makes a difference could be mine Maybe I’ll practice mediation Contact my inner consciousness There’s an expectation here, but I’m too tired to write the punchline Now is the joke on you Or is the joke on me? Is the joke on everyone I’m too tired to know Now is the joke on you If it’s on me, that’s fine The only thing know is I’m too tired to write the punchline.
