Here's a little ditty, Here's a little song it might not rhyme, no right or wrong it's about two lovers, with two dogs and a cat it's about their life, and his baseball bat their dream to someday own a farm With chickens and a studio in the barn... Back in two thousand oh-one Alone and having no more fun He was looking for a new start she was looking for a sweetheart Turtle Toes had a van so shoddy 4Sneezes was a super hottie they met in a bar, and fell in love they got together, fit like a glove he moved in, and they moved out they got a house, they had no clout she learned a trade, he got a career they had good times, drinking light beer batted leadoff, he played baseball in the spring, the summer and fall payments too big, and they pardoned they moved again, and had a garden full of veggies and, and fruits and mice the house was cool, but not like ice And not for sale, not once but twice they asked to buy, but no dice they moved again, to an apartment in the forest, by the sea but it was cold, and way too boring they moved, above the fog to see It was too sandy, and communal weather changes, wind monsoonal Too remote and far, from commerce rent went up and, emptied their purse so they moved, roof shingle siding great location, upstairs hiding Walking score is 85 but not for sale, the landlord thrives he wont sell, they're filling his coffer deciding to move, or make an offerrr........... so they sit still, while being antsy they look online, at houses fancy they are patient, saving money they think life, is pretty funny they often feed, the dogs pot stickers left over from back when they drank liquor they feed the dogs pot stickers they watch all night, HGTV stalking brand new property Life is weird that's how it goes watching new home buyer shows after all they've seen and all they've tried They still have a house but feel homeless on the inside! :( With chicken coops and seeds to sow With a live music barn and studio With room to swing that baseball bat with room for two dogs, and cat with a well and septic tank with vines and trees and God to thank And when they get it, they'll be delighted Come on out, you're all invited! They'll serve fine wines and serve up cheeses Have a big party that aims to pleases and In the barn two extra freezers!! In the dreams of... Turtle Toes and 4Sneezes. +++++++++++++ Rights:
